Spreading Christmas Joy: Emsland Group Donates Around 100 Gifts to Children in the Region

Christmas is a time for joy and giving — and that’s exactly what we set out to do together this year! With a special donation campaign, we aimed to bring a little Christmas cheer to the children, teenagers, and young adults at Eylarduswerk. This organization supports young people who cannot live with their parents or need educational assistance in challenging life situations.

A Christmas Tree Full of Wishes

At the heart of the campaign was a Christmas tree at the entrance of the Emsland Group headquarters in Emlichheim, adorned with nearly 100 stars. Each star represented an anonymous child’s gift wish, ranging from toys to books and clothing. Employees were invited to pick a star, purchase the desired gift, wrap it with care, and place it back under the tree.

The response was overwhelming: within a short time, all the wishes were taken and the first gifts were already placed under the beautifully decorated tree. Our apprentices enthusiastically assisted with organizing, demonstrating the incredible team spirit and dedication within our company.

Gift Delivery

Shortly before Christmas, the big moment arrived: our colleagues from the marketing team stepped into the role of Christmas elves to personally deliver the gifts to Eylarduswerk in Gildehaus. Alongside nearly 100 lovingly wrapped presents, we also presented an additional donation of €1,000, supported by our works council and management.

Making Christmas Brighter Together

This initiative demonstrates what is possible when everyone comes together. With so much commitment, kindness, and teamwork, we succeeded in bringing smiles to children’s faces and making the holiday season a little brighter.
