An exciting first day
The day began at all locations with a meeting in the administration department. The training managers then welcomed our new colleagues at a joint breakfast.
To round off the official part of the day, there was a safety briefing, an introduction to the Integrated Management System (IMS) and a tour of the plant.
Adventurous start to apprenticeship
After an eventful morning, the apprentices from Emlichheim took the bus to Haren “Schloß Dankern” at 10:30 am. There, a special highlight awaited our new recruits as well as the apprentices from the higher apprenticeship years: Battle Kart – Mario Kart in Real Life. In this exciting competition, the new apprentices and interns were able to put their teamwork skills and dexterity to the test, while of course also having fun. The successful day was rounded off with a delicious schnitzel buffet. Everyone had the opportunity to get to know each other better and make initial contacts over lunch.
In Kyritz, it was off to the water instead. Thanks to rhinpaddel.de, the new colleagues were able to take part in a canoe trip and enjoy nature and the beautiful weather to the full. The perfect end was a lunch at the Hotel & Restaurant Boltenmühle, which left nothing to be desired.
Our new colleagues in Hagenow were aiming high. At the Baltic Rocks climbing park in Schwerin, they showed what they are made of: courage, team spirit and a good dose of fun! It was not only a great opportunity to get to know each other better, but also to master the first challenges together. Here, too, we ended the first eventful day with a joint lunch.
We are happy to welcome our new apprentices, dual students and annual interns to the Emsland Group and are looking forward to our time together. Welcome to the team!
